We bought a new flash and wanted to try some home-studio lightning portraits with a self-made softbox.
Making a really gross scar for Zuko has been another thing we were really dying to try out for a few months now. And so we thought, why not combine it?
The idea was to portrait the moment Zuko has first seen his injury. Thus, he's still got the hairstyle from his childhood flashbacks.
Loved to work with dramatic lightning, btw. I'm sure we'll experiment some more with it.
