ATLA: Zuko's Scar by Green-Makakas ATLA: Zuko's Scar by Green-Makakas
ATLA: Zuko Test by Green-Makakas LoK: Hommage to Lin Beifong SPOILER by Green-Makakas LoK: Farewell Father by Green-Makakas

We bought a new flash and wanted to try some home-studio lightning portraits with a self-made softbox.
Making a really gross scar for Zuko has been another thing we were really dying to try out for a few months now. And so we thought, why not combine it?

The idea was to portrait the moment Zuko has first seen his injury. Thus, he's still got the hairstyle from his childhood flashbacks.

Loved to work with dramatic lightning, btw. I'm sure we'll experiment some more with it.

a lil thick and a bit too crusty on the scar but the idea is there :) I got badly burnt by an extreemly hot woodstove metal when i tripped, so i know the scar will be a bit crusty at first but the texture is quite gleeming and not too bad once its healed.

You're right, it's not all that realistic. Thanks for advice! And ouch, that sounds painful...
We were rather going for an immitation of Zuko's scar in the series, not for the way a real scar would look.
